Medusa is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California.

Built by the famed coaster designers Bolliger & Mabillard. Medusa Opened in 2000 as the first floorless roller coaster on the west coast (later it would gain a sister at Six Flags Magic Mountain by the name of Scream!). Medusa features a 150 foot tall lift hill with a 150 foot drop. The ride is 3937' long. The ride features 7 inversion including a Vertical Loop, Dive Loop, Zero G Roll, 2 Flatspins (commonly known as corkscrews) and the first and only Sea Serpent Roll.

Discovery Kingdom's version of Medusa is often referred to as "Medusa West" by coaster enthusiasts due to the fact that there are 3 rides with the same name, all with different layouts. "Medusa East" is located at Six Flags Great Adventure and features a completely different layout that includes a Cobra Roll and Interlocking Corckscrews. "Medusa South" is located at Six Flags Mexico and is a wooden coaster built by CCI.
