Not to be confused with the New York-based Mediaweek owned by the Nielsen Company.
MediaWeek is a trade magazine serving the Australian newspaper, television, radio, magazine and advertising industries. MediaWeek is published as a weekday email digest and weekly 28-page magazine. The magazine was founded in 1990, and later incorporated rival Entertainment Media.
Regular content includes "The Media Week", a wrap of industry news; "Media People"; "EM's Entertainment Week"; Neilsen radio survey results; and television ratings information from Australia (provided by OzTam), New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
The editor and publisher is James Manning.
