Medea Records

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Medea Records is an independent record label based out of Detroit, Michigan. The label focuses on up and coming forms of heavier rock music. Currently, they have such developmental artists as Arizing, Auto Pilot, and Seven Mile Sun.

Medea signed Detroit's Factory 81 at the beginning of the nu-metal era before major labels picked up on the trend. The band later broke up after being bought out from Medea only to be shelved during a corporate merger of two major record labels.
