Meathole is an album by Canadian IDM/Breakcore artist Venetian Snares, released on August 22, 2005, on the label Planet Mu.

Unlike his previous album Rossz csillag alatt született, which is strongly classic-inspired, this album is more influenced by jazz and blues with a dark and chaotic mood, best example being the track "Aamelotasis". The sound is also far less subtle, with Venetian Snares' trademark complicated drum patterns that seem to get louder and more extreme towards the end of each song, best heard on "Choprite" and even more so on "Szycag". Most (if not all) of the album is in 7/4, at speeds of what seem more than 190 bpm, making it less danceable than most other electronic music genres, but not impossible for the determined fan.

The aa- prefix in "Aanguish", "Aamelotasis" and Aaperture" is probably taken from Aaron, Venetian Snares' real first name.
The strange screaching noises at the beginning of the track "Contain" are samples from the movie Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, that are played two times faster (so to hear them you have to play the track at a quarter of its original speed).
"Aaperture" contains a sound sample from the 2002 film One Hour Photo.
"Sinthasomphone" refers to Konerak Sinthasomphone — a victim of one of America's notorious serial killers, Jeffrey Dahmer
"Des Plaines" refers to the town where the American serial killer John Wayne Gacy murdered and raped his victims.
"Des Plaines" includes a sample from "I Am The Poison" by Nurse With Wound.
Vocals on "Aanguish", which say "My eyes are black and white", make a link with the CD's front side, representing a black and white eye-like symbol. (The sampled vocals are from the song "(Hey Ho) The Noddy (Oh)", from the Current 93 album Swastikas For Noddy.)
Vocals on "Choprite" refer to a color psychological test, saying "The red... The blue..."
As credited on the booklet, the front cover is an armpit. The armpit is obviously reflected to confuse the viewer, for reminding us of a vagina by according to the album title.
