Mean Streak Marker

The Mean Streak is a type of marker made by Sanford but can also refer to a variety of solidified paint marking sticks. This marker is a semi-solidified stick of paint in a twist tube. It leaves marks on many types of surfaces, including, but not limited to: Metal, Wood, Plastics, and Paper. It is an oil based marker, and leaves a mark similar to a crayon or chalk.
One of the popular uses of the Mean Streak is when tagging. It is used to leave a bold mark, one that is lightfast and clean. It is commonly used when tagging trains, due to the fact that the surface of a train is too rough for conventional markers to work. Taggers also use this because they are relativley cheap and effective.
