[edit] Biography
Before becoming Me & My, the duo were known as "SuPer Sisters" (the word "SuPer" being a compound of the two singers' first names). Towards the beginning of the 1990s they released two Danish-language albums and tried to enter the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest, but unfortunately Susanne - being 15 at the time - was too young to enter. The song which they were supposed to sing, eventually finished 2nd in the Danish national final.
Besides attaining a reasonable level of popularity in Europe, the duo have also gained fans around the world due to their songs "Dub-I-Dub" and "So Many Men" being licensed by Toshiba-EMI Ltd. (the Japanese division of EMI) for the popular arcade video game series, Dance Dance Revolution. Despite the tracks debuting in the games in 1999 and 2000 respectively, they are still firm favourites with players of the game.
Susanne and Pernille still write songs for other artists, and recently revealed on "Musikprogrammet" (a Danish music programme on television) that they are saving some of the best songs for a "sometime in the future album".
Me & My are one of the contestants in the 2007 Danish Eurovision Song Contest. On February 2nd, they qualified from the semi final to the final, which was held on February 10th.[1]
