McQuaid Jesuit High School is an all-male, Jesuit secondary school, located in Rochester, New York. McQuaid is located at 1800 Clinton Avenue South, in the suburb of Brighton. McQuaid was founded in 1954 with a class of 129 students, located in downtown Rochester. It moved to its current site in 1959. Today, it educates over 800 young men in grades 7-12. McQuaid Jesuit is widely recognized for above-average academic and athletic performance among its students.

McQuaid has partaken in the sectional and state tournaments of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association since 1978, and has won 52 sectional championships since. In the fall season, McQuaid offers football, volleyball, soccer, and cross country. In the winter season it offers wrestling, basketball, indoor track, hockey, and swimming. In spring season, McQuaid offers baseball, lacrosse, rugby, and track & field. The crew and sailing teams compete in both the fall and winter seasons.

A new field house is to slated to be completed by the end of 2007, as part of a broader plan to improve athletic facilities. This initiative will increase the capacity of the gym and renovate the locker rooms, weight room, and physical education offices.

Jeff Van Gundy, current head coach of the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association, began his coaching career at McQuaid, coaching the McQuaid men's basketball team for one season (1985-1986).
