Located at 1400 Wilson Creek Parkway in McKinney, Texas, McKinney High School strives for academic excellence in all areas. It is within the McKinney Independent School District . The mascot is a Lion and the colors are Blue and Gold. The school has a strong academic tradition, with several UIL Academic State Champions in its history. The current building opened in 1986, after moving from what is now Faubion Middle School. The current principal is Donna Rother. School goes from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
