McKey is also the name of a Census Designated Place in Oklahoma.

McKey (sometimes MacKey) is an unincorported community in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. It was established on the Old Osage and Arkansas Valley Railroad near MacKey's Salt Works. The post office existed from March 13, 1891, until July 14, 1928. It is said to be named for Lugie Mackey.
