Joseph "McG" McGinty Nichol (born November 30, 1968) is an American film producer and director. He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
With a psychology degree from UC Irvine, McG started as a still photographer in the music business, shooting local bands and musicians with whom he was friendly. Eventually, this led him to direct music videos.
His films include Charlie's Angels, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Who then Now which was featured on the DVD, Deuce (Korn DVD), and Stay Alive. His television series include Fastlane, The O.C., and Supernatural. His latest film is about an American college football team entitled We Are Marshall.
