The reason the article was deleted in the first place was due to me being unable to find any assertions of notability. Stating that the artist has been on numerous tours, signed with a major label or received major news coverage would be some reasons, you can read more about notability criteria for bands and artists at WP:BAND.

You should also be aware that editing your own article is never a good idea, it will almost certainly be spotted and deleted, it's just a rule we have, if someone is truly notable, then why would that person have to make his or her own wikipedia article?

I hope you are not offended by the notability guidelines if you happen to fail them, this is just the way it has been agreed upon, and there's probably a niche wiki out there that specializes on artists. -Obli (Talk)^? 08:15, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
