MC Wrec

MC Wrec (real name John Bailey) is a British Drum and Bass and Hip Hop artist. His most notorious position to date is as one of the front men of the live Drum and Bass group London Elektricity. He was also a key member of a brighton based hip hop group known as The Pickpockets; and worked with artists such as Ice T, The Black Eyed Peas, Goldie, The Streets Fabio and DJ A-Track .
He is now resident prestigious records labels including Hospital Records, Critical, Custom, Soundtrax and W10 Recordings, plus infamous nights including Fabric Live, Heaven, Hospitality and Friends & Family in London, The Watergate in Berlin plus further residencies in Cardiff, Brighton and Bristol.

As well as being a prolific artist in the UK scene Wrec is also a musical entrepreneur.
He has started a record label and management company along with Marc Shienmen called "Mums the Word Music" handling artists such as Part Time Heroes and The Nextmen.
Wrec is also the CEO of Guerrilla Tactics Entertainment, a ‘creative agency’ which deals with all of Addict Clothing’s worldwide music press, product placement, endorsements, and regularly works with the likes of DJ Cash Money, Skitz, Fat Freddy’s Drop, James Zabiela and more.
Now developing links with the UK Jazz scene along with his Drum and Bass and Hip Hop roots Wrec is a versatile musician.
Of his recent solo work one song worth particular mention is The Great British Moan Up.
