Looks like this article needs a lot of attention. I am putting a NPOV template on it (for several reasons; it's not hard to pick them out), and hopefully someone who has some more information about mbaqanga can come fix it... Unfortunately I don't know enough myself, but I do know that this music had a ressurgence in post-apartheid South Africa, which isn't mentioned at all in the article. I don't think the article has a non-neutral perspective, it just seems to be relying on old sources of information. Hence it talks about Mbaqanga being "rural music" which became popular in the 1950s and then died down. I believe it needs to be updated, explaining the resurgence of this music in the 1980s, as well as during the post-apartheid era (from 1994 onwards). I am sorry that I am not able to do this myself because I don't have the depth of knowledge required to flesh it out properly. --Anonymous 19:01, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
