The Mazandarani people are a northwestern Iranian people found primarily in the province of Mazandaran whose indigenous language is a branch of Iranian language called Mazandarani. their seafood dishes are famous in Iran.

Mazandaranis are one of the most ancient native people of Iran. This is apparent in ancient Greek historians writings of Hyrcania.
