  • There are many spelling and grammatical errors.
  • The history section is a company timeline pulled from the company's website. (at least we know it's accurate)
  • The section on Maytag's mascot, "Ol' Lonely", is copied from the company's website. (at least we know it's accurate)
  • The article is very biased towards the company.
  • The article does not mention the Maytag Neptune or the widely-publicised problems with it which lead to a class-action lawsuit. Andrew pmk 00:23, 24 August 2005 (UTC)
  • Actor Hardy Rawls who played the second "Ol' Lonley" did not die on 9/22/2003 as stated in the article. As of 12/02/06 he is alive, and living in the State of Florida.
