Maywood Public Schools

The Maywood Public Schools are a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade from the Borough of Maywood, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States.
After graduating from Maywood Avenue School, students in grades 9 - 12 attend Hackensack High School in Hackensack, as part of a sending / relationship with the Hackensack Public Schools. Students also attend the Bergen County Academies or other schools.

- Memorial School which houses 297 students from first to third grade. For the 1996-97 school year, Memorial School was formally designated as a National Blue Ribbon School, the highest honor that an American school can achieve[1].
- Maywood Avenue School serves 508 students in the fourth through eight grade. Kindergarten students attend the Greenwood Early Learning Center, which is connected to the Maywood Avenue School. The school offers a wide variety of afterschool activities ranging from cheerleading to chess club. Older students have the opportunity to contribute to their school newspaper, The Hawk, and their yearbook.
