Mayfair Middle/High School is located on 6000 North Woodruff Avenue, Lakewood, California, United States, as part of the Bellflower Unified School District (BUSD). The middle school was added in 1982, although the high school is decades older. Mayfair is a combination middle school and high school, having students from grades seven through twelve.

As of 2004, Mayfair had 112 regular educations teachers and 142 classrooms serving 3,500 students from the communities of Lakewood, Bellflower, and Cerritos. Average class size is 32.1 students.

Mayfair was recognized as a California Distinguished School, the highest award a California high school can obtain. In 2001, Mayfair received the Golden Bell award from the California School Board Association for their Academy of Animation and Digital Art Program.

The school mascot is the "Mayfair Monsoon" — illustrated as a tornado. The school colors are blue and white. The monthly school newspaper is the Windjammer. Mayfair sports teams have won several state championships and regularly participate in playoffs, including its win in the Division IX CIF championships.[1]. Mayfair's varsity boys basketball squad won the CIF division IIA title in 1999.[2]
