[edit] Bio
Maya Ritter is a 13-year-old Canadian actress who played the lead role of Molly McIntire in Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front. Prior to this endearing role, she acted in Upanishads (2005), co-starred as Zoe in Disney Channel's Jetix Smash Bumpers (2006), had lead roles in Finn's Girl (2006), and Progeny (2006), and a supporting role as Eleanor in Christmas Wish: A Road Not Taken (2007).
Although Maya first took interest in acting when she was only 6 years old, her first try at acting was when she played Miss Hannigan in her sixth grade play, Annie Jr.
When she is taking breaks from acting, Maya likes doing karate, playing the guitar, listening to music, and spending time with friends.
In Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front, it took over 2 hours to curl her hair for the part of Miss Victory, and because Maya had no previous experience with tap dancing, she was tutored by a choreographer for several hours a day for four weeks as well.
