Maxim Zavozin

Maxim Zavozin (born March 2, 1985 in Moscow, Russia) is an American ice dancer. He previously competed with Morgan Matthews. They joined forces on the ice in 2001. The duo won the 2003 and 2004 U.S. Junior titles and captured the 2005 World Junior championships. Zavozin became a U.S. citizen on Dec. 30, 2005. Zavozin previously competed with Stephanie Ellis. After placing a disappointing fifth at the 2007 United States Figure Skating Championships, Matthews and Zavozin announced the end of their partnership on February 26, 2007. He is currently looking for a new partner.[1]
