Max Slevogt

Max Slevogt (born October 8, 1868 in Landshut, Germany - died September 20, 1932 in Rhenish Palatinate, Germany) was a German painter of the Impressionism who specialized on landscapes.
Slevogt held a unique position in the field of landscape painting. Together with Lovis Corinth and Max Liebermann he was one of the last representatives of the Freilichtmalerei (Pleinairmalerei) style.
