Maury Buford

Maury Anthony Buford (born February 18, 1960)Was raised in Mt. Pleasant Texas and graduated from Mt.Pleasant High School was a punter in the National Football League for the San Diego Chargers, Chicago Bears and the New York Giants. Buford attended Texas Tech and was selected by the Chargers in the 1982 NFL Draft. He won a Super Bowl as a member of the 1985 Chicago Bears.

Buford was the cowbell ringer in the 1985 Bears novelty song, the "Super Bowl Shuffle".
