Maurice Omondi Odumbe (born June 15, 1969 in Nairobi) is a Kenyan cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler.
An aggressive all-rounder, he became the automatic choice for first Kenyan bowler after his debut in 1990 and after winning the Man of the Match award in 1996 against the West Indies, hitting 3 wickets for just 14 runs. He even led the Kenyans for a time, into the 1999 World Cup, and even though he was not playing at his best, he still achieved a man of the match award against Sri Lanka. He was one of the most crucial assets to the Kenyan team when they reached the semi-finals of the World Cup in 2003, and the following year, he hit a career best innings of 207 against the Leeward Islands.
In March 2004, he was investigated and eventually banned for receiving money from bookmakers. This almost certainly signifies the end of his career.
