Maureen Webster (née Grimes, previously Naylor,Elliott, and Holdsworth) was a character in Coronation Street played by Sherrie Hewson for four years from 1993. In 1997, little more than a week into her marriage to Fred Elliott, Maureen ran off to Germany with Bill Webster. Maureen returned to the 'Street' on Christmas Day, 2006 in the middle of The Platts' Christmas dinner, where the Websters were their guests, and was upset following the revelation of Bill's affair with Audrey Roberts. Maureen and Bill have since separated.
