Maulana Azad College of Engineering and Technology, Patna is one of the premier Engineering Institute in the State of Bihar, India. The Institute is popularly called MACET. The Institute has a sprawling campus located at Neora in the district of Patna. The Engineering College is affiliated to Magadh University, Bihar. The institute is named after Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India's first Minister of Education, a great nationalist and educationist. Maulana Azad College of Engineering and Technology offers 4 year Engineering Courses in the following disciplines:

The Institute was founded in 1990 and has continued to grow in stature ever since. The Institute has produced several alumni working in Top Notch companies across the world and bringing laurels to the Institute. Maulana Azad College of Engineering and Technology plays a pivotal role in improving the educational scenario of Bihar. The Institute has well qualified faculty in all disciplines. The Institute provides well equipped labs and latest Computer facilities. The Institute lacks behind other Regional Engineering Institutes in having a non existent Placement Cell. The Management is working for having a Placement Cell so that the graduating students get ample opportunity to showcase their potential to the recruting companies. The Institute also suffers from delaying of exams by the University.This is a major drawback and the Management has to realise it.
