Maud Petty-FitzMaurice, Marchioness of Lansdowne

Maud Petty-FitzMaurice, Marchioness of Lansdowne GBE, CH, VA, CI (17 December 1850–21 October 1932) was born Lady Maud Evelyn Hamilton, a daughter of the 2nd Marquess of Abercorn (later Duke of Abercorn). On 8 November 1869, she married the 5th Marquess of Lansdowne at Westminster Abbey and they had four children:
- Lady Evelyn Emily Mary Petty-FitzMaurice (27 August 1870–2 April 1960)
- Lord Henry William Edmund Petty-FitzMaurice (14 January 1872–5 March 1936)
- Lord Charles George Francis Petty-FitzMaurice (12 February 1874–30 October 1914)
- Lady Beatrix Frances Petty-FitzMaurice (25 March 1877–5 August 1953)
From 1905 to 1909 she was a Lady of the Bedchamber to Queen Alexandra and Extra Lady from 1910 to 1925. She died in 1932 and was buried at Derry Hill Church, Chippenham, Wiltshire.
