[edit] David Lanz
Please indicate in this article why this person is notable enough to be in an encyclopedia. Is he just some random guy who plays the piano, or is he had several albums produced and released and is major person in the genre? —Centrx→talk • 22:52, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- Excellent! Keep up the good work. —Centrx→talk • 07:58, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- I happened to like his works, and upon further research of him found out he has accomplished quite a lot. I just didn't happen to have enough time to do a lot of work on his article when I first created it, I was busy. --Matt0401 11:28, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Davidlanz.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Davidlanz.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Proposed deletion notice
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article David Lanz, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:David Lanz. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. - I took off the prod tag, if someone's been nominated for a Grammy they aren't just some guy with a piano. Kappa 05:59, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

- Thanks, Kappa. I have no experience with adding people worthy of mention in Wikipedia so I wasn't sure if David Lanz was worthy or not after that tag for deletion was added. --Matt0401 18:43, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Pc-campus-1.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Pc-campus-1.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --ccwaters 01:31, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] RAID
Your addition here is claimed to be a copyright violation (see recent history) and removed. I found your post here on hardforum.com asking for permission but I don't see the author's response. Could you provide a link or email from the author stating you have permission?
I also assume that by giving permission he understands that he is GFDL'ing his guide.
Please feel free to discuss this on the Talk:RAID#Copyright violation with more info so we can get this cleared up. Thanks! Cburnett 17:54, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
