Frank Ho is a Canadian certified math teacher. He founded the Ho Math and Chess Learning Centre in 1995 with one classroom and a handful of students. Frank was fascinated by the relationship between chess and math, and as a result, wrote the workbook entitled Mathematical Chess Puzzles for Juniors. It is the world's first integrated math and chess workbook for elementary students. Later he created seven more math-related workbooks, three of which can be checked out from the Vancouver Public Library.

In 2004, Frank started to franchise the Ho Math and Chess teaching method and his workbooks to the world. Today, Ho Math and Chess is the leading after-school math specialty learning centre with worldwide franchises. Ho Math and Chess is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Frank has a Master of Science degree and has been teaching at Chess and Puzzle Summer Camps at St. George’s School in Vancouver, BC, Canada for over 6 years. Frank also worked as a Statistical Consultant at UBC for over 15 years. He is a member of the BC Math Teachers' Association and has published everal papers in BC math teachers' publications.
