Just to clarify, the scheduling of the Genie Award ceremony has been variable; the 16th Genie Awards ceremony, when he was nominated for Eclipse, was held in January of 1996 to honour films released in 1995, and the 17th Genie Awards ceremony, when he was nominated for Lilies, was held in November of 1996 to honour films released in 1996.
