Mattias Asper

Mattias Asper (born March 20, 1974 in Sölvesborg) is a Swedish football goalkeeper currently playing for the Norwegian club Viking FK. He has played 2 international matches for the Sweden national team, and was a squad player for the Euro 2000.
He was a regular for Mjällby AIF for four years before joining Allsvenskan team AIK in 1998. His performances attracted interest from Real Sociedad, who bought him for the 2000/01 season. However, he was not a success there, and eventually returned to Sweden and Malmö FF in 2002.
Asper has won the Swedish championship 2 times with AIK in 1999 and Malmö FF in 2004.
