Matthew Scott (rugby league footballer)

Matthew Scott (born July 30, 1985 in Longreach, Queensland) is an Australian rugby league player for the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League competition.
Scott grew up in the small Queensland town of Ilfracombe, Queensland where he would travel over four hours each weekend to play in Longreach.
Scott had the unfortunate distinction of breaking his leg in the opening minutes of his debut game, thereby ruling him out of the remainder of the 2004 season.
In 2006 Scott made his debut for the Queensland Maroons.
