Matthew Rose (born September 30, 1972) is a British-born journalist for the Wall Street Journal in Washington, D.C. He is married to Kimberley A. Strassel, a member of the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board.

Rose is a page-one editor for the Wall Street Journal. He previously covered the media industry for the Wall Street Journal. Before that, he covered the technology industry for the Wall Street Journal Europe. Rose has an MA in international affairs from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
