Matthew (elm cultivar)

The Chinese Elm U. parvifolia cultivar Matthew is one of three recent (< 2006) American introductions selected for their cold hardiness (USA zone 4 tolerant). The tree has an upright vase-shape, strong branches, and a bark that exfoliates at a relatively early age.
