Mattavilasa Prahasana

Translated in English it means ' drunken revilry'. It was a poem composed by the Pallava king Mahendravarman.The story is about a drunken Shaivite monk picking a quarrel with a Vaishnavite and Budhist monk ,accusing them of stealing a human skull which he used as his begging bowl.The story ends with the monks discovering a stray dog stole the skull.
