Matthew "The Mattster" Thompson (born 1984) is an Australian radio presenter and sports journalist. He is a reporter on Melbourne sports radio station SEN 1116.

Thompson presented the late 2005 show Sunday Sportscentre with Robert Shaw and Daniel Harford. He is also a regular host of the "Day in Sport" program, which is a collection of highlights and interviews that have occurred on the station the previous day.

On Sundays, Matt also co-hosts a sunday morning breakfast show with Daniel Harford.
