Matt Sparrow (born 3 October 1983 in Wembley, London, United Kingdom) is a professional footballer, currently playing in midfield for Scunthorpe United. He lives in neighbouring town Brigg.

Sparrow's year of birth is somewhat debatable. According to Soccerbase and the official Scunthorpe United website, he was born in 1983. However, according to the Sky Sports Yearbook and the PFA Footballers' Who's Who, he was born in 1981.
After taking out a few months at her Majesty's pleasure[citation needed], Matt became a regular in the Scunthorpe first team.
