Matt Rua (born July 20, 1977 in New Zealand) is a rugby league player. He has previously played NRL for the Melbourne Storm and represented New Zealand. He is involved with the Cook Islands national team and played for the Central Comets in Queensland in 2006 after a stint with the Waitakere Rangers early in 2006. Has been signed for 2006 by Melbourne Storm.His father Maho Rua is looking forward to him playing his 100th NRL game.
