Matt Moses

Matt Moses (born February 20, 1985 in Albany, Georgia) is a Minor League Baseball infielder in the Minnesota Twins organization. He was selected by the Twins with the 21st overall pick in the 2003 Major League Baseball Draft. Moses bats left-handed and throws right-handed, and his primary position is third base. The Minnesota Twins organization views Moses as their third baseman of the future. Moses possesses solid fielding abilities, evidenced by the fact that he played shortstop during his time at Mills E. Godwin High School in Virginia, and he projects to become a solid offensive player at the major league level. He spent the 2006 season with the AA New Britain Rock Cats but is expected to compete for a major league job in the upcoming 2007 season.
