Matt McGinley is the co-founder of Gym Class Heroes. He and Travis McCoy met up in school in Phys. Ed. - hence the name Gym Class Heroes - and quickly became friends. The two later decided to form a band, and after former members Milo Bonacci and Ryan Geise joined the band, Gym Class Heroes was officially formed.
