Matt Hussey

Matt Hussey (born 28 May 1979 in New Haven, Connecticut) is an American professional ice hockey player. He is under contract with the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League and is playing for the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.

Matt Hussey was drafted in the ninth round, 254th overall, by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1998. As of the end of the 2005-06 NHL season, he has played a total of 16 games, scoring two goals and two assists, for the Penguins. Playing for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the American Hockey League, he was top scorer in regular season for the team during the 2005-2006 season.
