Matthew Wilkie (Matt) Childers (born December 3, 1978 in Douglas, GA) is an American pitcher who, as of 2006, played in the New York Yankees organization. He has made a total of 11 appearances in major league games: eight with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2002 and three with the Atlanta Braves in 2005.[1]

In 2006, Childers went 1-4 with a 5.68 ERA with Triple-A Columbus Clippers and 3-3 with a 3.81 ERA with Double-A Trenton Thunder.
