Matt Baker (born May 11, 1983) is an American football quarterback. A member of the Dallas Cowboys practice squad in 2006-2007 serving as the teams third quarterback. Resigned to a one year deal with the Cowboys following the season. Signed as a free agent following the 2006 NFL Draft with the Houston Texans. A client of Creative Artists Agency football.

Led North Carolina to a 5-6 record senior year. 4th in the ACC in passing as a senior. Graduated from the University of North Carolina with an Economics Degree. He also became a brother of Sigma Chi.

Attended Brother Rice High School. 3 year letter winner in football and lacrosse. All-State Dream Team and Associated Press in football. 2 time All-State and All-Midwest in lacrosse. 2001 Midwest Scholastic Lacrosse Association Player of the Year. 2001 Lacrosse All-American.
