Matsyasana
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Matsyasana - sometimes referred to as "fish" pose - is a Hatha yoga pose. It is a counter-pose to Sarvangasana and thus is normally done after Sarvangasana.
The pose is a mini-backbend. The practitioner lies down on his or her back and tilts the head bend so that the top of the head touches the ground. The hands and elbows provide support when positioned alongside the lower abdomen.
