Matsuoka, Fukui

Matsuoka (松岡町; -chou) was a town located in Yoshida District, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 11,071 and a density of 595.54 persons per km². The total area was 18.59 km².

On February 13, 2006 the town of Matsuoka merged into the town of Eiheiji.
