Matsubara, Osaka

Matsubara (松原市 Matsubara-shi?) is a city located in Osaka, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 130,795 and the density of 7,850.84 persons per km². The total area is 16.66 km².

The city was founded on February 1, 1955.

Hannan University (阪南大学) is located in Matsubara. Hannan University is a mid-sized liberal arts university with a focus on business and technology.
