Matsu no Oroka

Matsu no Ōrōka　was the main enclosure in Edo Castle (江戸城). It was the passage which led to the Shiroshoin (白書院) from the Honnmaru Goten (本丸御殿).

In 1701, Asano Takumino kami (浅野内匠頭) injured Kira Kozukenosuke (吉良上野介) there.
