Matrix Software is a Japanese video game company founded in 1994. It was founded and comprises members of Climax and Telenet Japan.

Matrix Software is best known for the 1997 2D Sony Playstation Action Adventure known as Alundra. Their most recent project is the Nintendo DS remake of Final Fantasy III.
