Matrix Partners is an early stage venture capital firm with offices in Waltham, MA, Menlo Park, CA, and Mumbai, India. Matrix was an early investor in such well known companies as Apple Computer, Arrowpoint Communications, Digium, JBoss, PSINet, SanDisk, SilverStream Software, TheLadders.com, Tivoli Systems, Veritas Software, Vermeer Technologies, and XILINX. The firm is investing in seed and early stage companies in the United States and India, working on software, communications equipment, semiconductors, storage, Internet or wireless.
Managing Directors include Timothy A. Barrows, Nicholas F. Beim, Paul J. Ferri, Bob Lisbonne, Stan J. Reiss, Shirish S. Sathaye, David R. Skok, Rob L. Soni, and Andrew W. Verhalen in the United States, and Avnish Bajaj and Rishi Navani in India.
