Mato Vodopić

Mato Vodopić (born in Ragusa (Dubrovnik) December 13, 1816 and died c.1893) was the bishop of Dubrovnik from July 3, 1882 until his death in 1893, and wrote poems for some special occasions, and was a storyteller and collector of folk ballads. Most notable among the works of Vodopic, are Mare from Konavli and Poor Jele.
