Mato Grande (Portuguese meaning great fields, Capeverdean Crioulo (Badiu and ALUPEC or ALUPEK: Matu Grandi), is a settlement in the island of Brava, Cape Verde. It is linked with the dirt road with the Furna-Vila Nova Sintra Road as well as the rest of the island. The village is located in a farm setting with mountains surrounding the settlement.
