Mathiu Silverberg

Mathiu Silverberg (マッシュ・シルバーバーグ, Masshu Shirubābāgu) is a character in Konami's role playing game Genso Suikoden. He was a master military strategist in the Suikoden World. He participated in the Succession War as a strategist for Kasim Hazil, then served as a vice-strategist for Barbarossa Rugner under his uncle Leon. When Leon devised the plan to slaughter the town of Kalekka, Mathiu reluctantly carried out his duty, but retired from his position soon after. Over a decade later, Mathiu became the head strategist for the Liberation Army during the Gate Rune Wars. Near the end of the war, he was fatally wounded during the attack on the floating fortress by a spy. He died shortly their after, just after the fall of Barbarossa. He had several students including Apple and Shu.
